From an idea during fifth-grade science testing to a full league with a World Series.
The Cranford Wiffle Ball League was dreamed up by Brandon, Michael, and Matthew during fifth-grade state science testing. What began as an idea between friends became an official league on June 17, 2023 — and the rest is history.
CWB officially begins. The very first game sees the Cleveland Guardians defeat the New York Yankees, 7–5.
Matthew Venditti launches the first home run in league history.
The Hacking Pimpsters — who began the season as the New York Yankees before a mid-season rebrand — take the inaugural title.
Max Semler and Michael Matlosz share the first MVP award. Matthew Venditti is named MVP of the first All-Star Game.
CWB hosts its first-ever tournament, raising the level of competition.
